Grace Harvest Prayer Team Ministry
Our Prayer Team is an unusual and a unique ministry at Grace Harvest. It’s unusual because its members are mostly anonymous, provide their services privately, and never discuss what they’re doing with anyone but God. It’s special because it helps others by praying for their needs while deeply blessing those who participate. Simply put, it’s one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to help others and yourself! Our Team members receive prayer requests sent to our church and offer those prayers in their daily communication with God in their own unique and personal way.
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have. It gives us a way to share both our praises and needs with God through one-on-one communication. It’s like having a private telephone call with God! It creates a connection between us and God – a very personal, private connection. And when we’re lifting the needs of others to God, we’re also opening our hearts to think of others more than ourselves.
Each prayer request goes through these simple steps:
1. Submitting our Online Form
Submitting Prayer requests to the Grace Harvest Prayer Team is easy. Just Click Here and fill out the short online form. You’ll be submitting your concern directly to the Grace Harvest Prayer Team Ministry Leader’s inbox and Cell Phones. At Grace we "DO NOT" keep your information on any CRM related databases, spreadsheets or word documents, nor do we distribute your info to any other third-party entities of any kind. Your info "if given" is only used for prayer with our team and nothing more. We simply Love You and we will just Pray for you and that is it.
2. Our Delivery
The Grace Harvest Prayer Team Ministry Leader then takes the request, and delivers it via e-mail to the confidential list of Prayer Team members that are with Grace Harvest and they anticipate the request from you.
3. Communicating
As each Grace Harvest Prayer Team member receives the prayer request from you, they bring your prayer to our Lord for divine intercession and continue to pray for your needs until a response is received by you or through the Holy Spirit. You have prayer partners and they will listen, take note and then lift your burdens to our Heavenly Father on your behalf. We will become your intercessory messengers and continue to pray for your needs. What is intercession? Intercession is prayer that pleads with God for your needs and the needs of others. But it is also much more than that. Intercession involves taking hold of God's will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.
How Does One Pray?
Some people may find praying an easy thing to do, while others find it more challenging. The truth is there isn't any secret formula for praying, and there’s isn't a right way or wrong way—although Jesus offered us some good advice. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to our Creator secretly. Then your Creator, who knows all secrets, will reward you.” You don’t have to use any special words, you don’t have to pray at a certain time, and you don’t have to pray in a certain way. Prayer is really just communication—it is just talking with your closest friend—God. While there is not a right way or wrong way to pray, some people have a simple process to help them remember everything. A popular one uses the acronym A.C.T.S. Adoration (acknowledging and Honoring our King), Confession (acknowledging our own weaknesses and Sins), Thanksgiving (thanking God for blessing us), and Supplication (asking for what we need not what we simply want). Whether people find prayer easy or difficult, want a process or not, one thing is certain: God loves it when we pray and when we listen. God doesn't much care how we do it as long as we’re doing it! But the reward is the longer you have time with God, the more you will benefit His Love and response to you. So, just open up some communication with God!!
