Our Duty at Grace Harvest Church

Our continued goal at Grace Harvest Church with our Convalescent Ministry is to Pray and Inspire those who are sick, in the hospital, convalescent homes, retirement homes, homes, and/or in special care facilities.

Scriptures that support our Ministry:

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord” James 5:14

“And the King will answer and say to them, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me” Matthew 25:40 KJV.

“The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.” Psalms 41:3 NIV

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world” James 1:27 KJV.

Our Purpose at GHC

Our Convalescent Ministry was formed to visit the Sick and shut-in of Grace Harvest Church and those who request our services.  Taking the love of Jesus Christ to those who cannot be physically present, or who are going through difficult times, our Convalescing Ministry is fulfilled by the team members who reach out and touch those who are in need. Our Convalescent Ministry team members volunteer to make hospital visits and home visits when called upon and scheduled. We also make visitations to retirement homes, and/or special care facilities.
